CHS writers did it again, earning 7 of the 12 high school writing awards in the Pierce County Library Writing Contest. CHS swept the 11-12 poetry category: Andrea Ueland 1st, Bao Nguyen 2nd, Hannah Lawty 3rd. Allison Moren placed 3rd in 9-10 poetry and Daniel Matsuda 3rd in 9-10 short story. In 11-12 short story, Andrea Ueland placed 2nd and Matthew Pfefferle 3rd. Congratulations writers.May 8, 2015

Wednesday, December 3rd – Covenant Choir, Madrigal Choir and Chamber Choir perform at Heritage Christian School’s 9:00 a.m. chapel.
Wednesday, December 10th – Christmas Concert Dress Rehearsal from 2:10 to 4:30 p.m., sanctuary. Students bring a snack. Rehearsal is mandatory for all performers and technical crew.
Thursday, December 11th – CHS Christmas Concert and Art Show. Prelude at 7:15 p.m.; concert at 7:30 p.m. Choir students report to school at 6:00 p.m. sharp for group pictures, then warm-up.

On Thursday, December 11that 6:00 p.m., Covenant High School will host an open house with a light buffet for new prospective students and parents for the 2015-16 school year. Please encourage your friends who are interested in Covenant to contact the school office, 759-9570, and visit the CHS website. They will be personally invited to attend the open house, Christmas concert and art show. Information and registration packets will be distributed. Parents, don’t forget to begin the application process if you have an 8th grade child who wants to join his or her siblings at CHS next year. Registration materials for returning students will be distributed in early March.April 29, 2015
