New Student Registration for 2017-2018
Parents – don’t forget to begin the application process if you have an 8th grade child who wants to join his or her siblings at CHS next year. Registration materials for returning students will be distributed in early March.
The admission test for new students is scheduled for Wednesday, February 8th from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. You may sign up for the test by calling the CHS office, 759-9570, or by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
The Bible and New Year’s Resolutions
We encourage all students and parents to consider making a New Year’s resolution to read through the Bible in a year. All it takes is to read three-and-a-half chapters per day. See Pastor DeMass for a reading guide checklist to help you in this effort.
The 2016 Covenant High School play under the direction of Mrs. St. John is My Fair Limey. Rehearsals are Mondays and Wednesdays from 2:15 – 4:30 p.m. Performances will be 7:30 p.m. on March 23rd and 24th.
Post-high school scholarship opportunities are presented to college/career classes and posted on the main bulletin board as they become available. Mrs. Dille also has a scholarship notebook for parents and students to peruse.
Weather-Related School Closures
If weather conditions or other emergencies (earthquake, etc.) appear to call for a possible delay or closure of school, check the website, chstacoma.org under “News.” You may also call the school office, 759-9570, after 6:15 a.m. If no weather-related information is given, you can assume school will begin at the regular time.
