Covenant High School dedicated October 12th to college and career preparation for the entire student body.
The senior class spent this day working diligently on college applications and post-college plans. With the support and supervision of faculty they completed application essays, collected references, and worked through FAFSA. During this time, sophomores and juniors completed the PSAT-NMSQT. The PSAT-NMSQT is a practice test for the SAT and qualifying juniors can earn the National Merit Scholarship. The top 1% of juniors are chosen as semifinalists and the top 5% earn commended honors. As a new addition this year, freshmen took the PSAT-9.
It was a successful day and Covenant staff and faculty are grateful to equip and encourage each student as they prepare for their futures beyond high school.
