Our students recently attended Intelligent Design Education Day, hosted by the Discovery Institute, where our own Mr. Pedro Moura was featured as a keynote speaker!
Mr. Moura also participated in a panel discussion with scientists George Damoff (PhD) and Paul Nelson (PhD). Mr. Moura has played an integral role with the Discovery Institute as a keynote speaker at similar events in Spokane, WA. This event centered on exploring the remarkable complexities of bugs and insects and linking these complexities to the evidence for intelligent design in creation. Scientists gave presentations that encouraged students to think critically and strengthen their faith in the process. Covenant High School is blessed by Mr. Moura’s scholarship and love for God and His creation. We are so thankful for him and for the opportunity to attend this event!
