On Thursday, April 28, all freshmen and sophomores will go on a field trip to the Seattle Aquarium while juniors and seniors are on the UK trip. This will be an opportunity for all the students to get acquainted with what Mr. Moura has been discussing in Marine Biology while spending quality time together. The goal is for them to develop an appreciation for the diversity of marine fauna and flora that are found in the Pacific Northwest and the Puget Sound more specifically. The trip will also include a ferry ride from Bremerton to Seattle. We will use travel time on the bus to both prepare for and debrief this visit with students. Chaperones for this trip will be Mr. Moura, Mr. Nichols, Mr. Friedman, Mr. Ralph McLin, and Mrs. Moura (who is a marine biologist, too!).
