Cross Country at Covenant gives students an opportunity to compete with Christian coaching and mentorship, while building relationships with teammates. Student-athletes are taught to challenge themselves, support their teammates, and to live out their school motto, “To Glorify God and Enjoy Him forever.” Covenant High School Cross Country competes in the 1B/2B WIAA division, while competing in Seatac League meets and major invitationals in the region. Coach Dan Konzelman was a successful, state-qualifying high school runner and competed in NAIA college cross country at Northwest University. He works for the Tacoma Fire Department, and he is an avid outdoorsman and enjoys investing in the lives of young, Christian runners.
